Middle River Power closed its acquisition of the 427-MW Panoche Energy Center natural gas plant in Firebaugh, California, from Ares Management. The fully contracted facility expands Middle River Power’s flexible generation portfolio across the Western Interconnection; Ares Infrastructure Equity had owned the asset since developing it about 20 years ago.
