Milestone Pharmaceuticals enrolls first Canadian patient in ReVeRA-301 Phase 3 AFib-RVR trial
MIST•Milestone Pharmaceuticals enrolled the first Canadian patient in its Phase 3 ReVeRA-301 trial of etripamil nasal spray for AFib-RVR. The multinational study targets about 150 treated events; no Phase 3 results have been presented.
1. Trial enrollment begins
The first Canadian patient has been enrolled in ReVeRA-301, a pivotal Phase 3 trial assessing etripamil nasal spray for AFib-RVR. The study will assess whether at-home dosing can rapidly slow heart rate and ease symptoms.
2. Study and filing strategy
The multinational trial targets about 150 treated AFib-RVR events and uses the same repeat-dose regimen marketed in the U.S. as CARDAMYST for PSVT. Milestone plans to use a single-study supplemental new drug application filing to expand etripamil into AFib-RVR, leveraging safety data generated so far. Previously reported Phase 2 emergency-room data showed heart-rate reduction alongside improved symptom relief and treatment satisfaction.
