The solution integrates coverage activation at robot deployment, targeting repair, replacement and liability costs to accelerate AI-powered robotics adoption in Hong Kong and Southeast Asia.

Mint’s Axonex unit teamed with Hong Kong-based YAS and a Switzerland-headquartered insurer to jointly develop embedded micro-insurance for commercial robots. This partnership combines Axonex’s robotic data analytics with underwriting expertise to integrate insurance coverage directly into robotics service deployments.

The usage-based and predictive micro-insurance activates coverage at the point of service activation, covering repair and replacement costs as well as third-party liability. Initial deployments will focus on Hong Kong and Southeast Asia, addressing key barriers to enterprise robot adoption by embedding protection into the service itself.
