The FDA approved Mirum Pharmaceuticals’ Atebrioz late Friday to treat fibrodysplasia ossificans progressiva, a rare bone disorder. In a 63-patient study, the drug significantly cut new bone formation versus placebo at week 24; Mirum expects to launch it in October.
