Moderna's mRNA-2808 shows responses in 4 of 11 evaluable patients in early multiple myeloma trial
MRNA•Moderna said mRNA-2808 produced responses in 4 of 11 evaluable patients in an early trial for multiple myeloma; initial Phase 1/2 results and updated MyEngage data are expected at a December 12, 2026, meeting.
1. Trial results
The investigational therapy produced responses in heavily pretreated patients with relapsed or refractory multiple myeloma, including some previously treated with targeted therapies. No dose-limiting toxicities or treatment-related serious adverse events occurred, though severe treatment-related side effects were predominantly blood-related. Moderna plans to present initial Phase 1/2 results and updated data from the ongoing MyEngage trial at the American Society of Hematology meeting on December 12, 2026.
