Morgan Stanley hires BofA's Kweskin to cover diversified industries

Morgan Stanley has hired diversified industries banker Adam Kweskin to join its Global Industrials Investment Banking Group, according to a person familiar with the matter.
Kweskin, who most recently was a managing director in Bank of America's industrials investment banking business, will cover diversified industries with a focus on the water ecosystem and will be based in New York, the person said, declining to be named as the information is not public.
Morgan Stanley declined to comment, and Reuters could not determine Kweskin's new title.

Kweskin's departure follows a string of senior exits from Bank of America's investment banking division this year, including business services banker Brian Henderson, activism defense specialist Amy Lissauer, technology banker Rohan Sen and technology executive Ed Liu.
Bank of America said it has hired more than 40 managing directors this year, including Jason Rowe from Goldman Sachs, who is joining as co-head of technology investment banking and Gary Kirkham from Centerview Partners, who is joining as vice chairman of Global Corporate and Investment Banking.
Morgan Stanley earlier hired Sam Jackson from Jefferies to lead coverage of building products and Emma Taylor as co-head of global internet banking.
The firm has also named Mélanie Flouquet global head of luxury goods in Paris and hired former Citigroup banker Niall Cannon as a senior investment banker focused on software.
