MSA Safety debuted three next-generation firefighting innovations at Interschutz 2026 in Hannover, Germany. The lineup features the expanded M1 SCBA telemetry system, GALLET F1 helmet, and Bristol X1 protective suit aimed at enhancing situational awareness and operational performance.
2. Expanded M1 SCBA Telemetry System
The M1 SCBA Telemetry System, now available across Europe, integrates electronic pressure sensing, motionless and manual distress alarms, long-range radio telemetry, ultra-bright buddy lights, and free-fall detection. Combined with the M1 Control Module, MSA HUB for local data aggregation, and MSA Repeater for extended connectivity, it delivers real-time firefighter status, evacuation alerts, and remote monitoring.
3. GALLET F1 Helmet Features
Building on over 40 years of heritage, the GALLET F1 helmet offers enhanced protection from heat, impacts, and debris alongside a modular design for brigade-specific accessories. Key features include the helmet-integrated L360 lighting module, a reimagined full-face visor for expanded hazard protection, and design improvements for easier cleaning and maintenance.
4. Bristol X1 Fire Suit Innovations
The Bristol X1 suit introduces more than 1,000 fit configurations with a distinctive V-cut jacket, adjustable trouser braces, and reinforced shoulders, elbows, and knees.
