NVIDIA Adds 1,000x Faster DOCA Security to BlueField-4 STX, Vera Rubin Platform Hits 10x Throughput
NVDA•NVIDIA added DOCA Vault, Argus and Flow security to its Vera BlueField-4 STX, enabling 1,000x faster threat detection and 800Gb/s policy enforcement, with partner platforms due H2 2026. Its Vera Rubin POD-scale AI system reached full production, offering 10x agent throughput and shipping across 350+ factories in 30 countries.
1. Vera BlueField-4 STX Security Innovations
NVIDIA expanded its DOCA security stack for the Vera BlueField-4 STX, introducing DOCA Vault, Argus and Flow microservices that enforce zero-trust file access, agent behavior visibility and network isolation directly in silicon. The enhancements deliver runtime threat detection up to 1,000x faster and enforce policies at speeds reaching 800Gb/s. H2 2026 partner platforms from Dell, HPE, IBM and others will integrate these capabilities.
2. Vera Rubin AI Platform Production Ramp
Production of the Vera Rubin POD-scale AI platform has commenced at scale, with over 350 factories across 30 countries in full ramp. The system unifies Vera Rubin NVL72 racks, CPUs, GPUs, BlueField-4 storage and Spectrum-X Ethernet Photonics into purpose-built AI supercomputers. It achieves 10x higher agent throughput versus the previous Grace Blackwell generation and will begin shipping this fall.
