Murphy Oil signs two production-sharing contracts offshore Mauritania
MUR•Murphy Oil signed contracts for the C-10 and Tiof blocks offshore Mauritania, covering approximately 3.1 million acres. Murphy will hold a 90% working interest and operate the blocks, while Société Mauritanienne des Hydrocarbures will hold a 10% carried interest.
1. Contract interests
Through its subsidiaries, Murphy Oil signed two production-sharing contracts for the C-10 and Tiof blocks offshore Mauritania. The blocks cover approximately 3.1 million acres; Murphy will operate them with a 90% working interest, and Société Mauritanienne des Hydrocarbures will hold the remaining 10% as a carried working interest.
