NANO Nuclear Energy entered a non-binding memorandum of understanding with Ameresco to evaluate deployment of its advanced modular microreactor technologies on federal and commercial sites. The agreement outlines collaboration on siting, development, construction, licensing and operation phases, establishing the basis for future binding contracts.

The partnership will focus on NNE’s KRONOS, ZEUS and LOKI microreactor systems, each designed for modular factory construction, scalable power output and rapid on-site assembly. These reactors aim to provide reliable baseload or distributed energy to support critical infrastructure and data centers.

Ameresco will lead engineering, procurement and construction for selected projects, leveraging its energy infrastructure expertise. Both companies plan to pursue government funding and incentive programs, positioning NANO Nuclear to capture growing demand for low-carbon, resilient energy solutions in federal and commercial markets.
