National Capital Bancorp said second-quarter net income declined year over year due to higher provision expense and merger-related costs.
The US community bank reported net income of $1.62 million in the quarter, while pretax profit was $2.17 million. Net interest income was $6.45 million.
Merger with ODNB Financial remains on track for late 2026
The company said its previously announced merger with ODNB Financial Corporation is expected to close in the fourth quarter of 2026.
National Capital Bancorp said it continues to focus on resolving non-performing assets and pursuing new loan opportunities.
