National Fuel Gas completes acquisition of CenterPoint’s Ohio natural gas utility
NFG•National Fuel Gas completed its acquisition of CenterPoint Energy’s Ohio natural gas utility, which serves about 335,000 customers across 16 counties. The deal doubles the utility rate base and brings National Fuel’s regulated customer base to about 1.1 million.

National Fuel Gas completed its acquisition of CenterPoint Energy’s Ohio natural gas utility, expanding into the Dayton and Miami Valley region. The business will be renamed National Fuel Gas Distribution of Ohio, and roughly 200 employees moved to National Fuel as part of the transaction.
