Net loss was $13.54 million, including a $10.4 million non-cash impairment charge for its underutilized Carlsbad, California, facility. CarnoSyn revenue rose 22%, while private-label contract manufacturing sales increased 0.6%. The company plans to consolidate U.S. manufacturing at its Vista, California, facility and is exploring strategic alternatives, including a possible merger, acquisition or sale.
