NatWest published the transcript of its Q2 2026 results call from a management presentation and Q&A hosted by CEO Paul Thwaite and CFO Katie Murray.
2026 guidance raised and capital returns updated
- 2026 guidance was raised to return on tangible equity above 19%; income excluding notable items is seen around GBP 17.9 billion.
- The share buyback decision was moved forward to the full-year results in February; the interim dividend was lifted 26% to 12 pence.
- CET1 ratio was 13.2% at half-year; capital generation before distributions and the Evelyn impact is expected above 240 bps for 2026.
