NewAmsterdam Pharma to Present Nine Obicetrapib Abstracts at NLA 2026 Sessions
NAMS•NewAmsterdam Pharma will present nine abstracts on obicetrapib’s safety, efficacy, kidney preservation and pharmacokinetics at the NLA 2026 Scientific Sessions in Chicago on June 12. The company randomized over 9,500 patients in the Phase 3 PREVAIL cardiovascular outcomes trial and granted Europe commercialization rights to Menarini Group.
1. NLA Presentation Schedule
NewAmsterdam Pharma will present nine abstracts on obicetrapib’s safety, efficacy, kidney preservation, statin adherence effects and pharmacokinetics at the National Lipid Association 2026 Scientific Sessions in Chicago on June 12 across multiple kiosk locations.
2. Clinical Focus Areas
The scheduled presentations cover mediation analysis on LDL-C and Lp(a), integrated Phase III safety data, CETP inhibition effects on kidney function from BROADWAY, HDL remodeling mechanisms and real-world statin adherence and adverse event findings.
3. PREVAIL Trial Enrollment
The Phase III PREVAIL cardiovascular outcomes trial commenced in March 2022, completed enrollment in April 2024 and has randomized over 9,500 patients to assess obicetrapib’s impact on major adverse cardiovascular events.
4. European Commercial Rights
Exclusive commercialization rights for obicetrapib in Europe, both as monotherapy and a fixed-dose combination with ezetimibe, have been granted to Italy’s Menarini Group.
