Leasing and Other Commissions revenue rose 17.2% to USD 278 million on higher office volumes in New York City, the San Francisco Bay Area, and Los Angeles.
Q2 net income and revenue
Newmark posted Q2 net income available to common stockholders of USD 19.7 million, down 5.4% year-on-year, on revenue up 17.03% to USD 888.4 million.
Operating income slipped 5.46% to USD 40.4 million, with compensation and employee benefits rising 18.61% to USD 539.7 million.
Capital markets performance
Capital Markets revenue increased 16% to USD 259.2 million as investment sales fees improved 54.4%, partly offset by lower origination activity.
