NexMetals Boosts Copper Recovery to 81.3% and Nickel Grade to 10.9% at Selkirk

NEXMNEXM

Selkirk LCT results show copper recovery rising to 81.3% with a 30.2% grade and nickel concentrate grade increasing 60% to 10.9% at 54.4% recovery. PGEs, gold, cobalt and silver assays are being evaluated ahead of a Q2 2026 updated mineral resource estimate.

1. Metallurgical LCT Results

Locked cycle tests at Selkirk delivered copper concentrate with 81.3% recovery at 30.2% Cu grade and minimal nickel, and produced a nickel concentrate with 10.9% Ni grade at 54.4% recovery, representing a 16% improvement in copper recovery and 60% jump in nickel grade versus the 2024 mineral resource inputs.

2. Value Uplift from PGEs and Base Metals

New assays for platinum, palladium, gold, silver and cobalt are underway, targeting incremental revenue streams previously unassayed. Silver and cobalt are being assessed for the first time, potentially enhancing concentrate payables and boosting overall project economics beyond core copper and nickel values.

3. Updated Resource Estimate Timeline

Re-sampling is complete and integration of metallurgical and re-assay data is underway, with the updated mineral resource estimate expected by Q2 2026. This MRE will guide evaluation of commercial options such as partnerships, spin-outs or economic studies to unlock full value for shareholders.
