Pro forma purchase accounting implies about $40.05 billion of goodwill, with Dominion’s existing goodwill eliminated and replaced at closing.
Pro forma combined results show net income attributable to NextEra of $8.95 billion for 2025, with basic EPS of $3.19.
NextEra Energy to acquire Dominion Energy
NextEra Energy is set to acquire Dominion Energy in a stock-and-cash deal valuing total consideration at about $65.22 billion.
Dominion shareholders would receive an aggregate $360 million in cash, split pro rata, and 0.8138 NextEra shares per Dominion share.
