NextEra takes full ownership of Duane Arnold plant

NextEra Energy has taken full ownership of a shut Iowa nuclear power plant that is being restarted under contract to supply Google data centers, NextEra CEO John Ketchum said on Friday.

NextEra bought out the remaining 30% minority interest in the Duane Arnold Nuclear Power plant from two rural utilities, Ketchum said on a call with investors.
