NextHome Opens Two California Offices with 200 Agents Under New Franchise Model
NextHome, a subsidiary of eXp World Holdings, opened two California brokerages—NextHome Coastal Estates in Oxnard and NextHome Central Coast in Pismo Beach, with Albert Meggers overseeing nearly 200 agents across Ventura County and the Central Coast. This marks the first rollout of NextHome’s large-office franchise model, offering multiple technology paths.
1. Launch of New California Brokerages
NextHome, under eXp World Holdings, launched two brokerages in Southern California: NextHome Coastal Estates in Oxnard led by Omar Velazquez and NextHome Central Coast in Pismo Beach led by Jay Peet. Both offices, owned by Albert Meggers, started operations with nearly 200 agents covering Ventura County and the Central Coast markets.
2. Introduction of Large-Office Franchise Model
These are the first offices to adopt NextHome’s large-office franchise model, which allows brokerages to choose from multiple technology platforms under a single agreement. The model aims to reduce operational overlap, streamline systems, and provide franchise operators with flexible scaling options to accelerate growth and enhance profitability.
