Niagen Bioscience selects Evotec for NB4168 preclinical work
Niagen Bioscience selected Evotec as a contract research partner to advance preclinical development of NB4168 for Ataxia Telangiectasia.
Evotec will run pharmacokinetic, pharmacodynamic, and bioanalytical method validation work to support IND-enabling activities.
Work will be conducted with Niagen’s NAD Pharmaceuticals subsidiary at Evotec’s Verona, Italy site, using Evotec’s INDiGO development platform.
Niagen cited prior nonclinical data showing higher blood exposure for NB4168 versus NR chloride, supporting its positioning as a more bioavailable candidate.
