NioCorp Elk Creek mine site to host US energy secretary, EXIM chair and Nebraska officials
NB•NioCorp will host U.S. Energy Secretary Chris Wright, EXIM Chairman John Jovanovic and Nebraska officials at its Elk Creek mine site on Oct. 14, 2026, during EXIM’s review of the company’s application for potential debt financing.
1. Officials to visit site
The scheduled visit will include a tour of construction and briefings on planned niobium, scandium, titanium and rare earth products. U.S. Senators Deb Fischer and Pete Ricketts, Congressman Adrian Smith and Nebraska Governor Jim Pillen are also scheduled to attend. The event is closed to the public because of safety and security restrictions at the active construction site.
