The ES9 flagship six-seat SUV launched on May 27 with prices starting at 498,000 yuan and top trims at 558,000 and 628,000 yuan, generating delivery estimates of up to 17 weeks within days of opening orders.
2. Record May Delivery Performance
Nio delivered 37,705 vehicles across its brands in May, marking the highest monthly volume of 2026, driven by strong SUV demand and early bookings for the new ES9.
3. ES8 Continues Sales Strength
The ES8 accounted for 11,475 units in May—over 30% of total deliveries—extending its streak above 10,000 monthly sales to seven consecutive months and retaining the top spot in China’s large SUV segment priced above 400,000 yuan.
4. User Base Surpasses 200,000 in Zhejiang
Nio doubled its customer base in Zhejiang province to over 200,000 users, adding 100,000 new customers since July 2024 as it deepens penetration in one of China’s wealthiest markets.
