NIQ’s consumer survey found that 30% of global consumers said they were better off financially than a year earlier, while 34% said they were worse off. Rising living costs were cited by 77% of financially challenged consumers, and NIQ estimated that a global basket costing $100 in 2024 now costs about $105.
