NIQ•UK restaurant at-home sales rise 0.3% in July
NIQ Global Intelligence reported July 2026 at-home restaurant sales in Britain up 0.3%, the weakest since February.
- Delivery sales rose 4% year on year, partly supported by at-home viewing of the men’s football World Cup.
- Takeaway and click-and-collect revenue fell 8.1%, extending a 16-month run of declines in those channels.
- Total at-home sales rose 9.3% when including new sites or newly added delivery, pointing to expansion-led growth.
- At-home orders accounted for 19.8% of restaurant spend in July, up from 14.4% two years earlier.
