1. Expansion of Columbus Network
Northwest Bank announced plans to launch its fourth Columbus area financial center at 2006 N. High Street, directly adjacent to The Ohio State University campus. This location joins three other sites under development in New Albany, Gahanna and Westerville, all slated to open by the end of 2026.
2. Campus-Focused Branch Design
The new financial center will feature a modern, hospitality-focused layout with a smaller footprint, no traditional teller stations and expansive open spaces. It will deploy a universal banking model with advanced self-service options, private meeting rooms and onsite personal bankers aimed at serving students and local residents.
3. Job Creation and Leadership Growth
The four Columbus centers are expected to add 30–40 full-time positions in the local market as part of Northwest Bank’s broader transformation strategy. Since 2025, the bank has created nearly 90 roles across its four-state footprint, including senior leadership hires in areas such as digital channels, customer experience, corporate strategy and wealth management.
