Northwest Biotherapeutics partners with NHS Blood and Transplant to support DCVax-L production in UK
NWBO•Northwest Biotherapeutics partnered with UK NHS Blood and Transplant to support production of its experimental cancer vaccine DCVax-L, with initial work planned through Leeds and Oxford.
1. UK production support
NHS Blood and Transplant will provide therapeutic apheresis and cell processing to supply immune-cell starting material for personalized manufacturing. Initial work will run through Leeds and Oxford, while expansion to additional NHSBT sites across England is under evaluation; Advent Bioservices will also work alongside NHSBT.
