Nova Minerals Reports Peak 14.3 g/t Gold at Portage Pass Estelle Prospect
Nova Minerals’ Portage Pass prospect at its Estelle project, 2.5 km south of Korbel, returned seven rock assays above 2 g/t gold, peaking at 14.3 g/t, and ten soil samples exceeding 0.5 g/t, up to 1.8 g/t. The anomaly extends across two ridges covering 3.5 km and 2.8 km, indicating a potentially larger mineralised system.
1. New Gold Anomaly at Portage Pass
Nova Minerals has identified a broad gold anomaly at its Portage Pass prospect within the Estelle project, located 2.5 km south of the Korbel deposit. Early-stage surface sampling covers multiple ridges above Portage Creek valley.
2. Strong Early Assay Results
Seven rock samples returned grades above 2 g/t gold, with a peak of 14.3 g/t, while ten soil samples exceeded 0.5 g/t, topping out at 1.8 g/t. These results suggest near-surface mineralisation of potentially higher grade than adjacent Korbel.
3. Extensive Reconnaissance Program
The 2025 program encompassed over 75 line-kilometres of mapping, 430 soil samples and 170 rock samples across the Estelle tenure, including West Wing and RPM prospects. Portage Pass emerged as a key target with anomalies over 3.5 km and 2.8 km traverses.
4. Outlook and Next Steps
Nova plans to integrate Portage Pass assays into its wider Estelle exploration strategy, leveraging existing infrastructure near Korbel. Follow-up drilling will aim to delineate the extent and continuity of the mineralised system.
