Nova Minerals Confirms 1.5km×0.8km Gold-Copper Zone with 15.5g/t Au, 6.9% Cu
Nova Minerals delineated a 1,500m by 800m gold-copper anomaly at West Wing with rock samples up to 15.5 g/t gold and 6.9% copper, and soil samples peaking at 3.8 g/t gold and 0.55% copper. Detailed mapping and 2026 drilling are planned to define the new system.
1. Surface Sampling Results
During the 2025 field season Nova's team collected 430 soil and 170 rock samples across the Estelle project, delineating a 1,500m by 800m gold-copper anomaly at West Wing. Rock assays returned seven samples over 3 g/t gold (high 15.5 g/t) and three over 1% copper (high 6.9%), while 16 soils exceeded 1 g/t gold (peak 3.8 g/t) and 16 soils contained over 0.2% copper (peak 0.55%).
2. Geological Interpretation
The West Wing anomaly is primarily hosted in hornfels adjacent to the Estelle pluton, differing from Estelle’s typical porphyry-style deposits. Quartz feldspar porphyry outcrops at West Wing suggest a potentially distinct mineralization style requiring targeted geological mapping.
3. Upcoming Exploration
Nova will focus on detailed mapping and drill target definition at West Wing in 2026 to test the extent and continuity of the gold-copper system. Initial drill results will inform potential resource estimates and guide further exploration planning.
