Novartis Kisqali cuts death risk 19.1% in six-year early breast cancer trial analysis
NVS•Novartis reported that Kisqali reduced the risk of death by 19.1% in a six-year analysis of the Phase III NATALEE trial in early breast cancer. Results will be presented at the 2026 European Society for Medical Oncology Annual Meeting.
1. Six-year trial analysis
Novartis reported improved overall survival with Kisqali combined with endocrine therapy in the six-year analysis of the Phase III NATALEE trial. The trial included patients with stage II and III HR-positive, HER2-negative early breast cancer at high risk of recurrence.
2. Benefits after treatment
The reported benefits continued to deepen after treatment ended; patients had been off Kisqali for a median of three years. Longer follow-up showed no new safety signals. The results will be presented at the European Society for Medical Oncology Annual Meeting 2026.
