Novonix partners with ACP Technologies to develop domestic battery-grade anode material supply chain

Novonix entered a strategic partnership with ACP Technologies under a non-binding MOU to build a fully domestic North American anode materials supply chain.

The collaboration targets domestic pitch-coated synthetic graphite anode active material, expanding Novonix’s portfolio for higher-performance, fast-charging applications.

ACP Technologies will supply engineered carbon precursors made from petroleum-derived feedstocks, providing domestic pitch inputs for battery-grade graphite production.

The work program covers synthetic graphite development, mass-production process development, technology advancement, process validation, customer sampling, qualification, and commercialization.
