In this capacity she will oversee government and regulatory affairs and coordinate key business initiatives to support reliability and affordability.

2. Professional Background

Golin brings over two decades of experience in energy strategy, market development and product innovation, including founding Envision Energy Advisors and serving as Global Head of Energy Market Development and Innovation at Google. She holds both a Master’s degree and a Ph.D. from the Georgia Institute of Technology.

3. Strategic Priorities

In her new role, Golin will spearhead expansion of data center opportunities and residential virtual power plant programs to meet rising energy demand and cost pressures. She will also lead NRG’s Government and Regulatory Affairs functions to shape policy outcomes and support the company’s competitive position in evolving energy markets.
