NuRAN Wireless partners with Infratel on Starlink LEO satellite backhaul pilot in Nigeria

NuRAN Wireless will run a Nigeria pilot with Infratel to test licensed Starlink LEO satellite backhaul via third-party providers.
Project targets faster, higher-capacity rural 4G service where terrestrial backhaul is constrained, with performance and cost efficiency assessed at scale.
NuRAN has no direct commercial relationship with Starlink or SpaceX for the pilot.
Successful results could support broader rollout across contracted sites in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Côte d'Ivoire, Benin, Cameroon.
