NUTX•Amended HaloMD agreement and fee structure
Nutex Health amended its payment dispute resolution services agreement with HaloMD, effective June 30, 2026, shifting fees to a pay-on-collected basis retroactive to May 1, 2024.
The initial term now runs through Dec. 31, 2029, with automatic one-year renewals.
The changes, alongside CMS cutting the Federal IDR administrative fee to $15 from $115 per party, are expected to reduce arbitration costs.
The amendment also allows optional in-house handling or use of another vendor for dispute resolution at certain future hospital facilities.
