1. Senate Probe Over H200 Exports

Senator Chris Coons sent a letter to Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick demanding clarification on conflicting claims about Nvidia's H200 chip exports to China. Lutnick asserted no H200 sales occurred, contradicting CEO Jensen Huang’s statement that export licenses had been secured, prompting national security concerns over advanced chip access.

2. Nvidia Included in Pentagon AI Contracts

The Pentagon selected Nvidia among seven tech firms, including OpenAI, Alphabet, xAI, Microsoft, AWS and Reflection AI, to integrate frontier AI tools into IL6 and IL7 classified networks. This award falls under the Pentagon’s AI Acceleration Strategy, leveraging GenAI.mil, which supports more than 1.3 million personnel across warfighting and intelligence operations.
