Nvidia Secures $260M GPU Cluster Deal, Partners with Oklo on Nuclear AI Factories
Nvidia partnered with Oklo to integrate its GPUs into next-gen nuclear-powered AI factories, targeting deployment scalability and energy efficiency. Large-scale enterprise GPU deals, including Axe Compute’s $260M B300 cluster contract and Oracle’s canceled Super Micro rack order worth over $1bn, highlight persistent hardware demand and supply reallocation trends.
1. Nvidia Partners with Oklo for Nuclear AI Factories
Nvidia has teamed up with nuclear energy firm Oklo to deploy its GPUs in compact, nuclear-powered AI factories designed to offer stable, carbon-free power. The collaboration aims to enable scalable AI model training and inference while reducing reliance on traditional grid infrastructure and cutting energy costs.
2. Axe Compute Signs $260M Nvidia GPU Cluster Contract
Axe Compute secured a 36-month, $260 million enterprise agreement for a dedicated cluster of 2,304 Nvidia B300 GPUs, drawing on a Tier 3 U.S. data center. The deal, set to commence in Q3 2026 with 4.8 MW of redundant power, marks the largest single engagement in Axe Compute’s history.
3. Oracle Cancels Super Micro Nvidia Rack Order
Oracle canceled an order for 300–400 Nvidia GB300 NVL72 server racks from Super Micro, representing $1.1–1.4 billion in lost contract value. The move, linked to legal concerns over Super Micro’s co-founder, has shifted rack business toward other suppliers and underscores shifting supply dynamics in enterprise GPU deployment.
