Firmus Technologies will buy Nvidia’s AI infrastructure and resell Nvidia-powered cloud services to emerging AI firms, focusing on cost-effective access. The agreement covers delivery of 170,000 GPUs to facilities in Batam, Indonesia between Q1 2027 and early 2028. Nvidia will generate product sales and a share of ongoing cloud revenues under this long-term arrangement.
The deal is structured to deliver up to $30 billion in cumulative revenue for Nvidia over the first six years based on customer commitments. Revenue recognition will combine upfront infrastructure sales with recurring cloud fees as Firmus on-sells GPU compute capacity. This multi-year contract bolsters Nvidia’s data center segment growth trajectory.
By enabling smaller AI developers to access high-performance GPUs, Nvidia extends its ecosystem beyond hyperscalers and enterprise clients. The partnership enhances Nvidia’s competitive positioning in emerging markets while potentially accelerating customer adoption of its next-generation GPU architecture. Long-term cloud revenue sharing also deepens Nvidia’s role in AI infrastructure deployment.
