Odysight.ai to Conduct First U.S. UH-60 Flight Test of AI Maintenance System

ODYSODYS

Odysight.ai partnered with XP Services to install its AI-based predictive maintenance system on a UH-60 helicopter in Tennessee this spring, marking its first U.S. deployment. Ruggedized visual sensors and AI analytics will monitor flight controls, hydraulic lines and reservoirs during flight testing, supporting potential Supplemental Type Certification and Airworthiness Review.

1. Partnership and U.S. Installation

Odysight.ai has entered a partnership with XP Services to install its AI-driven predictive maintenance system on a U.S.-operated UH-60 helicopter in Tullahoma, Tennessee this spring. This marks the first installation of the company’s CBM+ solution on a U.S. aircraft and advances its domestic growth strategy.

2. System Features and Testing Scope

The deployment integrates ruggedized visual sensors, embedded software and AI analytics to provide continuous monitoring of flight control components, hydraulic lines and reservoirs. In collaboration with XP Services’ flight test team, the system will undergo comprehensive flight testing to validate leak, crack and corrosion detection capabilities.

3. Certification and Commercialization Outlook

Data collected during flight testing will support applications for Supplemental Type Certification and Airworthiness Review, paving the way for formal approval. This milestone represents a critical step toward commercializing Odysight.ai’s solution in U.S. defense and aviation markets.
