Oncolytics Reports Superior Anti-Tumor Activity of Pelareorep with RAS Inhibitors, Plans PDAC and CRC Studies
ONCY•Oncolytics reports that preclinical solid tumor models show pelareorep combined with KRAS G12C, pan-RAS and next-generation RAS inhibitors delivered superior anti-tumor activity versus monotherapies, prompting planned pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma and colorectal cancer studies to assess immune activation, response durability and time-to-resistance. Full dataset will be presented fall or winter 2026.
1. Preclinical Findings
Early data from solid tumor models demonstrate that pelareorep in combination with KRAS G12C, pan-RAS and next-generation RAS inhibitors yielded greater anti-tumor activity than individual treatments, evidenced by enhanced inflammatory cytokine upregulation, tertiary lymphoid structure formation and increased tumor-infiltrating lymphocytes.
2. Planned Studies and Timelines
Oncolytics will advance combination studies in pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma and colorectal cancer models to evaluate immune activation, tumor response durability and time-to-resistance, with full preclinical results scheduled for presentation in fall or winter 2026.
3. Strategic Development Implications
These findings support pelareorep’s potential as an immune-priming backbone for next-generation targeted therapies in hard-to-treat RAS-mutated tumors, and Oncolytics is pursuing strategic partnerships to accelerate combination therapy development.
