Revelation Biosciences has named Dr Peter Pickkers and Dr Lui Forni to its Acute Kidney Injury Advisory Board ahead of the Phase 2/3 GEM-AKI trial. The internationally recognized nephrologists and critical care physicians will guide clinical strategy, monitor trial progress and refine study design to address high unmet medical need in AKI.
2. Gemini AKI Program
Gemini, the company’s proprietary phosphorylated hexaacyl disaccharide formulation and TLR4 agonist, has demonstrated potential in multiple preclinical AKI models and two Phase 1 studies. The upcoming Phase 2/3 trial will evaluate its efficacy in acute kidney injury, leveraging advisory board expertise to optimize patient outcomes.
