OpenAI to sell its top models on Google Cloud in latest enterprise push
OpenAI will offer its frontier models, including GPT-6 Astra, and Codex through Google Cloud in the coming weeks, allowing customers to buy them through Google Cloud Marketplace and use existing cloud spending commitments.

2. Enterprise access and distribution
Customers in regulated industries can use Google Cloud access controls, data governance tools and infrastructure to build agentic AI workflows. The move follows OpenAI's expansion to Amazon Web Services after its exclusive distribution arrangement with Microsoft expired in April.
3. Cloud platforms as sales channels
The arrangement expands Google Cloud's offering of third-party models as hyperscalers compete to distribute frontier AI. Anthropic's 2025 revenue filing said 47% came from Amazon and Google cloud platforms.
