Oracle Launches 25 AI Agentic Applications, Database Now Offers Sub-30-Second Failovers

ORCLORCL

Oracle launched Fusion Agentic Applications for HR, CX, finance and supply chain with 25 AI-driven workspaces streamlining tasks like career development, contract compliance and sales command. It upgraded Oracle AI Database 26ai to Platinum-tier availability with sub-30-second failovers, introduced Diamond-tier sub-three-second recovery and AI agents to FCCM workflows.

1. Fusion Agentic Applications for HR, CX, Finance and SCM

Oracle introduced 25 Fusion Agentic Applications across four domains: eight for HR, five for customer experience and 12 for finance and supply chain. Each workspace uses coordinated AI agents to access enterprise data, policies and workflows to autonomously execute tasks such as career mobility, contract oversight, sales command and logistics exception resolution.

2. Oracle AI Database 26ai Upgrades

The new Oracle AI Database 26ai on Exadata delivers Platinum-tier availability with disaster failovers typically under 30 seconds—up to 4× faster than Database 19c—without application changes. For ultra-critical workloads, Diamond-tier availability achieves failovers in under three seconds using active-active clusters and Oracle GoldenGate or Distributed AI Database.

3. AI Agent-Driven Enhancements to FCCM

Oracle embedded next-generation AI agents from Lucinity into its Financial Crime and Compliance Management platform to accelerate case investigations and automate manual steps. The integrated agents surface contextual insights, guide next-best actions and orchestrate workflows within existing compliance infrastructures, with general availability planned within 12 months.
