Oracle Launches Cloud Innovation Studio with IMSA Labs Using Telemetry from 18 Manufacturers
ORCL•Oracle has become Founding Partner of IMSA Labs, launching Cloud Innovation Studio to give startups live race operations access to high-volume telemetry and OCI AI capabilities. The program uses real-time data from 18 automotive manufacturers to develop and validate cloud-native telemetry routing, real-time decision engines and fan-facing analytics.
1. Partnership Launch
Oracle is the Founding Partner of IMSA Labs, the innovation platform established by the International Motor Sports Association. The collaboration brings together Oracle’s cloud expertise with IMSA’s live endurance racing operations and telemetry from 18 global automotive manufacturers.
2. Oracle Cloud Innovation Studio
The partnership launched Oracle Cloud Innovation Studio as the inaugural program within IMSA Labs. Operating from the IMSA paddock, it gives startups real-time access to high-volume race data and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure AI capabilities to build and test solutions under live conditions.
3. Use Cases and Capabilities
Participating startups will build and validate solutions on OCI across multiple high-impact areas, including adaptive data routing from car to pit wall, cloud-native telemetry ingestion and replication, AI-driven decision engines for pit strategy and fan-facing live data visualizations.
4. Strategic Implications
The initiative positions Oracle to showcase OCI’s performance in extreme edge environments and could accelerate cloud and AI adoption in industries needing real-time streaming data and decision-making. Validated technologies may extend to manufacturing, logistics, energy and telecommunications.
