The company signed 2026–2027 performance contracts and boosted its sales force to 106.
1. Launch of Aoyun 2026 Program
Origin Agritech officially launched the Aoyun 2026 new variety promotion program at its annual marketing conference in Changsha, Hunan Province. Weiwei Shi, General Manager of Henan Origin, was appointed General Commander to oversee coordinated execution across all subsidiaries and accelerate market adoption of next-generation seed products.
2. Product Pipeline and Trial Approvals
The company’s research pipeline features competitive germplasm and a strategic alliance with China Golden-mark Biotech to fast-track commercialization of GMO and gene-editing traits. In fiscal 2025, Origin introduced four corn varieties—Jingke 317, Jinqiao 8, Xundan 203 and Aoyu 728—each securing multiple national and provincial trial approvals.
3. Regional Rollout Strategy
Regional teams from Henan, Shandong, Anhui, Jiangsu, Hubei, the Northeast provinces and Xinjiang finalized annual deployment plans covering the Huanghuai Hai corn belt, the Northeast four-province corridor and central and northwest China. Rollout timing aligns with China’s spring planting season after the Jingzhe solar term on March 5, 2026.
4. Performance Accountability and Sales Expansion
Origin formalized performance accountability contracts for fiscal years 2026 and 2027, with CEO Weibin Yan and Vice President Yubiao Liu signing operational and financial target commitments with core managers and subsidiary general managers. The company also expanded its sales force from 63 to 106 professionals and secured its Beijing seed production license to support execution.
