Otis FY26 Q2 net income rises 8.91% to $428 million; net sales climb 7% to $3.86 billion

- Otis Q2 net sales rose 7% to $3.86 billion, lifted by 6% organic growth and a 1% foreign-currency tailwind.
- Net income attributable to shareholders increased to $428 million; consolidated operating profit climbed to $575 million, while operating margin narrowed 0.3 percentage points to 14.9%.
- Service net sales jumped 11% to $2.58 billion, while New Equipment net sales were flat at $1.28 billion and operating profit fell to $40 million.
- Gross margin slipped 0.9 percentage points to 29.4%, reflecting higher labor and material costs, partly offset by mix toward Service.
- Otis held $813 million of cash and cash equivalents at June 30, 2026; total debt increased to $8.44 billion following a $700 million notes issuance.
