Ovid Therapeutics announced that Anna Greka, M.D., Ph.D., will join its Board of Directors effective June 15, 2026, chair the newly formed Science and Technology Committee and serve on the Compensation Committee.
2. Extensive Scientific and Entrepreneurial Background
Dr. Greka has over 25 years of experience in ion channel biology and translational research, leading the Ladders to Cures Scientific Accelerator, serving on the Broad Institute’s Executive Leadership Team, and as a professor at Harvard Medical School and Mass General Brigham. She has founded biotech ventures whose assets were acquired by Bristol Myers Squibb and AstraZeneca.
3. Strategic Impact on Ovid’s Pipeline
Her pioneering work in KCC2 transporter activation and building clinical-stage programs is expected to drive advancement of Ovid’s seizure and neuropsychiatric assets such as OV329 and its library of direct KCC2 activators through proof-of-concept trials.
