PacBio partners with TychoBio to generate long-read RNA data for AI-designed rare disease therapies
PACB•Pacific Biosciences and TychoBio entered a collaboration to generate full-length RNA sequencing data for AI-driven rare disease therapy design. TychoBio plans to use PacBio HiFi and Kinnex sequencing to profile more than 10,000 samples.
1. Sequencing collaboration
TychoBio plans to use PacBio HiFi sequencing with Kinnex long-read RNA sequencing to profile more than 10,000 samples. The dataset aims to link steric-blocking antisense oligonucleotide designs to transcriptome-wide effects, with a planned expansion to siRNA.
2. Therapy testing
TychoBio will test candidate therapies across multiple cell types and use sequencing readouts to train models on efficacy, durability and off-target risk.
