Palomar Q2 FY26 net income rises 13% to $52.6 million; gross written premiums climb 27% to $630.5 million

Palomar forecast full-year 2026 adjusted net income of $270 million to $280 million, including an estimated $8 million to $12 million of catastrophe losses.
Investment income and dividend
Net investment income increased 49.2% to $20 million, driven by higher yields and a higher average balance of invested assets.
The board declared an initial quarterly cash dividend of $0.45 per share; management also highlighted the launch of the PLMR.Farm crop policy administration system.
Q2 results and premiums growth
Palomar posted Q2 2026 net income up 13% to $52.6 million, with GAAP diluted EPS rising 15.5% to $1.94.
Gross written premiums climbed 27% to $630.5 million, while the combined ratio widened 4.5 percentage points to 83.3%.
