Paramount Launches Global Publishing Imprint While President Jeff Shell Steps Down
Paramount, a Skydance Corporation, launched Paramount Global Publishing to develop books based on its iconic franchises and new IP, debuting in the US and Canada. President Jeff Shell, cleared of SEC disclosure allegations, is stepping down from his board roles to focus on his lawsuit, remaining as an advisor.
1. Paramount Global Publishing Launch
Paramount, a Skydance Corporation, launched Paramount Global Publishing under its Products & Experiences division. The imprint, led by Amy Jarashow, will produce franchise-based and original book content across print, digital and audio markets in the US and Canada, with a distribution partner to be announced.
2. Jeff Shell Leadership Transition
President Jeff Shell underwent a board-led review of SEC disclosure allegations and was cleared of any violations. He will step down from his board roles to focus on defending the civil lawsuit but will retain an advisory position with the company.
