Parker Hannifin Reports 52% Drop in Safety Incidents and 36% Emission Cut
Parker Hannifin cut recordable safety incidents by 52% from FY19, achieving zero incidents at 81% of sites in FY25 and engaging over 37,000 team members in High Performance Teams. The company implemented 1,300 energy-efficiency projects that trimmed Scope 1 and 2 emissions by 36% since FY19.
1. Safety Performance Improvements
Parker Hannifin reduced recordable safety incidents by 52% compared with the FY19 baseline, with 81% of its global sites reporting zero recordable incidents in FY25. More than 37,000 team members participated in High Performance Teams, enhancing collaboration and leadership development.
2. Emission Reduction Initiatives
Since FY19, Parker’s global operations have launched over 1,300 projects targeting energy efficiency in processes, compressed air systems, HVAC and lighting. These initiatives delivered a 36% reduction in Scope 1 and 2 greenhouse gas emissions by the end of FY24.
3. Clean Technology Partnerships
The company continues to expand its electrification, clean energy systems and alternative fuels portfolio by co-developing lighter, more efficient motion and control solutions with customers. Parker’s market-driven approach emphasizes robust product performance alongside sustainability gains.
4. Community and Supplier Engagement
Parker introduced an SBTi-aligned Supplier Engagement Target program in FY25 to strengthen Scope 3 emissions data and capacity across its supply chain. In the same period, the company and its foundation delivered $13 million in charitable contributions and logged 23,000 hours of employee community service.
